"The Church From God's Perspective"
1John 3.2 "Beloved, we are [even here and] now God's children; it is not yet disclosed (made clear) "what" we shall be [hereafter], but we know that when He comes and is manifested, we shall [as God's children] resemble and be like Him, for we shall see Him just as He [really] is."
This "What"(what is bolded) in v2 suggest something unspeakable, contained in the likeness of God. This is God's perspective of us, do you agree? Amos 3.3 says "Do two walk together except they make an appointment and have agreed?" Neither can we walk pleasing to God and accept His standard for our lives unless we agree with His Word concerning us. We have been born again [from above, re-fathered by God Almighty], we are His sons and daughters, and we should appropriate this Great Honor.
Let's see what God has to say to His children: Ephesians 5.1 "Therefore Be Imatators of God [copy Him follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]." God want us to order our behavior to match that of Christ. Not walking in fear, but of assurance, in power, and in love, demonstrating His Kingdom's principles.
